Cauliflower Machine

The Baekelandt cauliflower machine, available with or without traction, is specifically designed to cut cauliflower into florets directly in the field, right after harvesting.

The machine moves forward at a slow pace, while operators cut the cauliflower and place it upside down in the shells. This ensures that the core of the cauliflower can later be easily hollowed out. The speed of the conveyor belt is adjustable, allowing it to be tailored to the number of operators working behind the belt.

How It Works – In Detail

Drilling:
The cauliflower heads are drilled in groups of three (or six when using a double drill head).

Breaking:
After drilling, the cauliflower heads are transported upwards via conveyors to the first breaker.

Sorting:
The cauliflower florets are checked for size. Florets that meet the desired size pass through the shaker-sifter. Larger florets are transported to the second breaker.

Leaf Removal:
A powerful blower blows away small cabbage leaves between the florets, ensuring they are ready for further processing.

Final Inspection:
An operator performs the final quality check before the cauliflower florets are placed into the containers.

With good traction, the cauliflower floretting machine performs optimally in more challenging conditions, boosting the efficiency of your agricultural process.
